Welcome to Sunrise Rotary Club of Minot!

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is Rotary's leadership training program that provides outstanding youth leaders an opportunity to develop and practice leadership skills.

RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth, and aims to:
1. Demonstrate Rotary's respect and concern for youth.
2. Provide an effective training experience for selected youth and potential leaders.
3. Encourage leadership of youth by youth.
4. Recognize publicly young people who are rendering service to their communities.

The RYLA Camp for Rotary District 5580began in 1992 with 27 campers in four families. It has since blossomed to well over 100 campers in divided among over a dozen families. All years of the camp have taken place at the University of Minnesota in Crookston. Visit the Rotary District 5580 RYLA website.

RYLA Camp is a week of leadership training featuring speakers from across the region, discussion groups and sessions with volunteer Rotarian staff members. Camp RYLA is sponsored by local Rotary clubs of Rotary District 5580 and Rotary International so there is no cost for RYLA students to attend the week long RYLA Camp.

Get Involved! Rotary is looking for outstanding young leaders between the ages of 16 and 18 who will be entering their junior or senior year of high school in the fall from area high schools to apply for Camp RYLA.
